Stand Up Placer has offered confidential emergency shelter for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault from our earliest days, and, since 2016, for sex trafficking. The safe house is for survivors of these crimes who are fleeing, or attempting to flee, life-threatening violence. We offer shelter, assistance with navigating the social services system, case management, and other supportive services to help survivors transition from the life they fled to a safer, more stable environment.

Our safe house serves all genders, is pet-friendly, and accepts minor and adult dependents of the survivor to ensure everyone’s safety.
